I create grounded spaces for people who want to reconnect with their bodies, their health, and their inner knowing.

My work is rooted in care and the belief that healing, beauty, and strength emerge when we listen to the body’s innate intelligence.

I’m Jenna Justinich—an herbalist, yoga teacher, and professional makeup artist. Through plants, movement, and ritual, I support people in reconnecting with themselves in sustainable, rooted ways

I’ve always trusted my heart and followed what feels alive and meaningful, believing that each passion is part of a larger path. After high school, that pull led me into the world of art and beauty through makeup artistry. I began working with M.A.C. Cosmetics, and within a few months I knew I wanted to deepen my skill and understanding beyond the retail environment.

This led me to complete an intensive eight-month professional makeup artistry certification program in Toronto, where I trained in bridal, editorial, and special effects makeup. Since graduating in 2014, I’ve worked as a freelance makeup artist, with a focus on bridal work—supporting people during meaningful, transitional moments and helping them feel confident, grounded, and themselves.

What began as a physical yoga practice quickly became something deeper—a way of listening inward, building awareness, and developing a more respectful relationship with my body. Through yoga, I was introduced to Ayurveda, India’s traditional system of medicine, which sparked a growing curiosity about healing the body holistically and in relationship with nature.

A few years after graduating from makeup school, I enrolled in a local program to become a Certified Nutritional Practitioner (often referred to as a holistic nutritionist). During my studies, I found myself continually drawn back to Ayurveda and herbalism. When I began formally studying herbal medicine, it felt less like learning something new and more like a remembering. The knowledge settled easily, intuitively—it felt like home.

Around the time I was preparing to graduate from this program, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training and then set off on a period of solo travel. My first stop was India, where my studies and lived experience deepened my understanding of the practices that had already begun shaping my work and worldview.

After the birth of my daughter in 2019, my relationship with herbalism became more focused and rooted. I had already been creating teas and formulas for myself, friends, and family, and I felt called to begin offering this work more widely. Since then, my practice has continued to evolve alongside my own life—refining my skills, deepening my relationships with plants, and learning through direct experience.

Today, I feel grateful to work with people in a variety of ways and contexts. Whether through herbs, movement, or beauty, my work is guided by care, presence, and a deep respect for the body’s innate intelligence.
